This Indenture MADE the twenty fifth Day of August in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety BETWEEN George Washington of the State of Virginia and George Clinton of the State of New York Esquire of the one Part and David Risley of White's Towne in the County of Montgomery in the State of New York aforesaid yeoman of the other Part, WITNESSETH, That the said George Washington and George Clinton for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings, current Money of the said State, to them in Hand paid by the said David Risley acknowledged Have Granted and by the Presents Do grant, bargain and sell unto the said David Risley ALL that Lott of Land situate in Whites Town aforesaid on the South Side of the River Containing two hundred and four Acres and distinguished in the Deeds of of the Tract called Coxburgh (of which it is apart) by Lott Number Thirtyseven in the Seventh Grand Division thereof; which said Deeds and Map ( thereunto had) as recorded in the Secretary's Office of the said State a Book marked "No 1 Deeds commencing 25th November 1779" with the Rights, Members and Appurtances thereof, and the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and Remainders, Rents and Services of the said Premises above mentioned and described, and hereby granted, and of every Part and Parcel thereof, with the Appurtenances. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the said Lott of Land and Premises above mentioned and described, and hereby granted, and every Part and Parcel thereof, with the Appurtenances, unto the said David Risley his Executors, Administrators and Assigns, from the Day next before the Day of the Date of these Presents, for and during, and unto the full End and Term of one whole Year from thence next ensuing, and fully to be complete and ended: Yielding and paying therefor, at the Expiration of the said Term, one Pepper Corn, if demanded: To the Intent, that by Virtue of these Presents, and by Fo of the Statue for transferring of Uses into Possession, he the said David Risley may be in the actual Possession of all and singular the said Premises above mentioned and described, and hereby granted, with the Appurtenances, and be thereby enabled to accept and take a Grant and Release of Reversion and Inheritance thereof, to him and his Heirs, to the only proper Use and Behoof of him the said David Risley his Heirs and Assigns for ever.
