Dr. Townshend attended until the arrival of Dr. Holdren. Clark has been ordered to Fort Leavenworth. Miss Bridge hopes Archer will become a captain soon, as Bridge does not want to marry a lieutenant. Mrs. Hays has lost another daughter after her husband left for Fort Snelling. Letter may not be complete. |
