Content Description | Burwell tells Knox he received his letter through "Mr. Pope," who did not call on Burwell when he was first in town because he said he was in a rush. Mr. Pope informs Burwell that Knox's son "is on board of one our Frigates in Hampton Road" but has not seen him yet. In a postscript Burwell tells Knox to tell his son that Burwell would welcome seeing him. |
