Content Description | List of extra rations issued at West Point by William Bell Issg Commy on account of Daniel Parker & Co Contractrs. A total of 1,021 and 1/2 extra rations were provided in August 1783. The groups that received rations included: army prisoners, men on garrison fatigue duty, the engineering department, police officers of the garrison, Indians, the Commander in Chief's bargemen, discharged persons, General Huntington's bargemen, and artillery artificers. |
