Additional Information Ronaldson and Archibald Binny established an early permanent type foundry in Philadelphia. Some sources credit their establishment as being the first permanent type foundry. Hale was the proprietor and editor of the Boston Daily Advertiser, and was Edward Everett's brother-in-law.
