The second note verifies that the previous note was the actual handwriting and signature of de la Roche, signed and dated by Louis Osmont Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 17 May 1792. The last note on the verso is a note of receipt from Duplaine for the money, dated Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19 May 1792. |
