Content Description Orders Captain Seward, an artillery officer in charge of ordnance stores forwarded [from] Springfield, to secure powder and other stores under the decks of transport vessels (Seward was apparently on his way to Claverack, New York). The powder and stores are to be delivered to John Ruddock at Fishkill, New York, and to West Point.
