Content Description Orders Lieutenant Briggs to proceed to the towns of Rutfield, New Fairfield, Danbury, Reding, and Newton, Connecticut. States the Briggs should give orders to all officers, doctors, and soldiers belonging to the 5th regiment to return immediately as Waterbury has orders to march to Albany right away. Lists six officers absent from camp that Briggs should order to return.
