Content Description | Authorizes the treasurer for the county of Chester, Pennsylvania to pay Bartholomew 31 pounds and 12 shillings for 79 days attendance as a member of the house. Also three pounds, 16 shillings for mileage. Note on verso dated 12 October 1776 states "received of John Branton 22 pounds, 15 shillings." Signed as Speaker. |
