Remarkably clear, depicting the family seated together. Possibly created in Washington, D.C.

Additional Information John Logan, Jr. was killed at San Jacinto, Philippine Islands, 1899. John A. Logan had one other son, John Cunningham Logan, who was born in 1856 lived for only one year. Logan served as a United States General from Illinois 1859-1862 and 1867-1870, and as Senator 1871-1876 and 1879-1886. He was also a general during the Civil War.
