Content Description | The Governor of Virginia reprimands the Five Nations for breaking their covenant and committing crimes in Virginia. He explains that Governor Dongan has convinced him to forgo declaring war upon them, but notes that he expects satisfaction upon conclusion of the war with the French. In their response, the Five Nations thank Lord Effingham for his forgiveness, and promise to rectify the situation. |
