Content Description | Orders rations to be issued for the use of five Indians going from Newburgh to Albany. The rations included 60 pounds of bread and 60 pounds of beef and also one gallon of rum as directed by Lieutenant Colonel Benjamin Walker, an aide-de-camp to General Washington. A Thomas [Hinde] signed the second page, stating that contractors delivered the rations. |
