Content Description Provision return for Captain Patten's company of artificers, which belonged to the ordinance department, from 21 April to 24 April. 69 soldiers were each given 1 1/2 rations a day for four days for a total of 432 rations issued. Signed twice by Patten on recto and verso. Countersigned by John Lillie, aide-de-camp. Docket signed by Dudley Mercer as quartermaster sergeant, stating that contractors delivered the rations.
