Content Description To Connecticut Treasurer, John Lawrence. co-signed by Thomas Seymour. Requests payment from the Colony of Connecticut to Daniel Wilcox of Simsbury for three guns and two bayonets. Wilcox purchased the arms for service in Captain Elihu Humphrey's Company. Wilcox (spelled Willcocks) dockets this receipt 2 August 1775, confirming receipt of the sum. A separate docket indicates that this receipt was audited 13 May 1776.
