Content Description To Connecticut Treasurer John Lawrence. co-signed by Thomas Seymour. Requests payment from the Colony of Connecticut to the select men for gun powder and ball and flints supplied to Colonel Douglas's (possibly William Douglas) Company. Signed by Joseph Dunlap (on behalf of the select men) confirming receipt of the sum on verso. Docket indicates that this receipt was audited 13 May 1776.
