Content Description Writing his wife about her inability to send letters, enclosing articles she asked for and knitting needles, good health of all friends and relations, arrival of militia and their poor health, capture of British frigate "Guerriere" by the USS "Constitution," travel to Carolina. This was the first significant victory of the War of 1812.
