Content Description Orders a book for records. Post scripts indicate that he once bought magazines from Knox for William Billing of Sunderland, Massachusetts and that the record book was needed for the recently incorporated town of Leverett, Massachusetts. Montague later became a minute man, was at the Lexington Alarm, and fought under Ethan Allen at Ticonderoga. He was at Bunker Hill and with the army at Cambridge when Washington took command and promoted him to the rank of major.
