Content Description | Fulfills a request for a prospectus of the course of study available at Washington College, where Lee served as president. In a letter on the verso of the printed prospectus, Lee comments that he was obliged for Site's 1859 report to the Ohio Legislature and writes: "I hope the country will yet retain the system of Government established by our forefathers." Two printed pages of the prospectus, and one page handwritten letter. |
