Content Description Major Bauman, in charge of artillery at West Point, writes "I saw Genl [Alexander] McDougall next morning at half passd seven, and by Eight I had all necessary orders given, and every thing in motion, and at noon had the cannon and stores at the landing ready to put aboard some vessells..." Discusses stores being sent to Knox (at Philipsburgh, present-day Sleepy Hollow, New York). Docketed by Samuel Shaw, Knox's aide.
