Predicts a separation between the Northern and Southern Presbyterian church and a separation in the Methodist church. Writes, "I really think the union cannot hang together long..." Discusses disunion and instructs the recipient to "tend your Ballot Boxes." Mentions items lost during shipment. Contains a postscript including financial information.
