Title | Thomas Randall to Henry Knox about a bill William Knox owes and Samuel Shaw |
Date | 31 October 1791 |
Author | Randall, Thomas (d. 1811) |
Recipient | Knox, Henry |
Document Type | Correspondence; Business and financial document |
Content Description | References a previous letter from Knox. Says Knox can pay his brother's bill on either 16 November or 15 December. Calculated a repayment date of 16 November as he must remit Mr. McConnell money on that date. Reports that Colonel [William Stephens] Smith has not presented Knox's draft to him yet, but when he does, it will be honored. Hopes that Samuel Shaw's brother will arrive this winter; "if he does it will be very advantageous to our speculations and retrieve his loss on the sale of the ship Massachusetts." |
