Content Description Reports that Knox's servant, Maurice (or Morris) Kelly, recently solicited him for employment. Refused to accept Kelly's offer without an official discharge and a recommendation of character from Knox, "which [Kelly] assured me you was ready to give him." Notes that he will not keep Kelly without Knox's approbation. Refer to GLC02437.03844 for a draft of Knox's reply.
