Authorized by President Abraham Lincoln. Treaty arranged by John Evans, Michael Steck, Simeon Whiteley, Lafayette Head, Commissioners on the part of the United States, and the Tabeguache leaders on 7 October 1863 (and proclaimed on 14 December 1864). |
