Content Description | Andrew Livingston, oldest son of William, joined an Indian Company and was captured. William describes his understanding of this event, and requests that Livingston do all within his power to regain the freedom of his nephew. Andrew's brother James became a sailor, and William requests that Robert write to James that he should write to his father. William writes also of his daughters and grandchildren, and of the families of their (William and Robert) sisters. Docketed on address leaf. |
