Content Description | Sherman informs Kimmel, possibly a former Civil War soldier from Ohio "I retain my usual good health and the love of Old Comrades." Declares "As to the sending a copy of my memoirs 2nd Ed. I am sure that you labor under the Common impression that the author owns the book. Not so, it is the publisher, a Copy of my own memoirs costs me within 50 cts the same as you or any purchaser." States that the price of the memoirs is $5, and provides publisher information for Kimmel in case he would like to order the memoirs directly from the publisher. |
